Daniel Killey
Psychologist
I’m Dan, and my path to psychology has been anything but linear. Before transitioning into full-time clinical practice, I spent over 15 years serving as a Combat Engineer in the Australian Army. Following my service, I established and managed a multidisciplinary practice of four clinics, with a large team of clinicians and staff until 2024.
Today, I’ve returned to my primary passion: working directly with individuals. My practice is built on the belief that our mind, body, and soul are part of a sophisticated and unified system designed to help us navigate life. Even when our responses feel counterintuitive or uncomfortable, there is often a biological or psychological purpose behind them.
My Approach. I provide a blend of clinical therapy and diagnostic psychometric assessments. I aim to go beyond "having a chat"; I focus on the What, Why, and How of personal growth:
The What: Exploring your current experiences and challenges.
The Why: Aligning those experiences with your core values and identity.
The How: Utilising empirical, biologically grounded interventions to drive tangible skill development and outcomes.
